We've been waiting all the time we've shared,
all the time we've had so far.
Dreaming of a live we've yet to live,
it's to to finally take our turn.
And so, we move on down the road.
Leaving the life we've only known.
You confess, you hope our love will endure this.
I can only hope we'll do our best.
I will go and find a steady job,
the best that I can get for now.
We'll make a home where we can rest our heads,
in a double cozy bed in this new place.
And though, we left some friends behind.
We'll keep their warming love safe inside.
And I must say, we're better off we went this way,
cause now we'll always look back with a smile.
